The Portland Greek Festival
Needs YOU!
Greetings Holy Trinity Parishioners!
The Greek Festival Board has been restructuring how we operate the festival and the roles each of us and the committee members play. We have some new opportunities available and are looking for volunteers to help with the planning and operations of our beloved event at varying time commitment levels. Specifically, we would love to have people join who have experience in operations, vendor/rental management, food production, finance/accounting, or marketing, but are open to hearing from anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and help make this event a huge success! The 2023 Portland Greek Festival will be held October 6-8 (Friday - Sunday).
Expectations:
- Must be available leading up to, during, and after festival (October 1 - 14)
- Must be able to meet at least twice per month leading up to the festival
- Must be able to communicate and partner well with others on the Board and Committee
How to apply:
- Please email Nicole Ossey at nicoleossey@gmail.com by May 31, 2023 answering the following questions:
- Why are you interested in joining the Greek Festival Committee?
- What kind of time are you able to commit? Do you have any outstanding obligations around the time of the Festival we should know about?
- The committee will review these answers and schedule some time for you to speak with us and ask each other questions. Once we’ve conducted these meetings, we will decide who would be a good fit and in what roles are available.
