Inspiration to Start the Work Week
Matthew 5: 14-16
The Lord said to his disciples, "You are the light of the world, A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
We are called to be the light of the world. Have you given much thought to this and what it might mean for you and others if you took this scripture to heart?
Are you actively cultivating the light of Christ within you, so that you have light to shine?
What changes do you think you need to make to bring the light of Christ into your life?
Being intentional about your spiritual life will benefit you first and also have a potential positive impact on others. We can only share the light that we have. Give some thought this week about what it means to be the light of the world and how you can hold onto and radiate that light.
