Inspiration to Start the Work Week
“By this shall all know that you are My disciples, if you keep all My commandments.” So did Christ declare to His friends, as He was heading towards His Passion. “Be at peace within yourselves and likewise with all, and you shall be exalted thinking humble thoughts. And knowing Me to be the Lord, bless Me and sing a hymn to Me, and exalt Me beyond measure unto all the ages.”
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
As we enter Holy Week may we be at peace within ourselves and with all. It was a joy to have so many in the Cathedral worshipping and praising the Lord on Palm Sunday. I loved the reflection below and share it with you.
Praying that you can join us for services this Holy Week and Pascha. Offering the schedule of services below as well.
Love in Christ,
Fr. Paul

Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus doesn’t enter our lives with force or pressure, but with humility and love. Today, He rides on a simple donkey instead of a warhorse and the crowds shouted “Hosanna,” which means “Lord, save us.” This is still the cry of every human heart today. Young people know better than anyone how loud the world can be, how many voices compete for attention, and how easy it is to feel pulled in a hundred directions. But Palm Sunday shows us that Jesus comes close, not demanding perfection, but inviting us to walk with him.
This day matters because it marks the beginning of a week where God shows us what love actually looks like. This is a love that serves, a love that forgives, a love that sacrifices, and a love that never runs away. Holy Week isn’t just a story from the past; it’s a mirror that helps us see who we are and who we’re becoming. When we follow Jesus from the palms to the Upper Room, to the cross, and finally to the empty tomb, we discover that our lives have a purpose bigger than fear, stress, or expectations.
Palm Sunday invites us to let Jesus lead us into a hope that doesn’t fade. As we step into Holy Week, we’re not just remembering what Jesus did; we’re letting his love reshape our own journey. #PalmSunday #Orthodoxy #Lent #HolyWeek
